The Equipment and tool finder edits the full list of products on this website to give you a tailored list of products that might be particularly useful for you to use in the garden.
To start searching for equipment and tools, you need to choose the gardening job that you want to do and then select the disability which best describes your needs.
Here’s how to do this:
Select a gardening job:
Choose the gardening job that you want to do by clicking on the arrow at the side of the box which says ‘Please select…’ A list of gardening jobs appears and you can choose one of the 11 jobs listed by clicking on it. The job then appears in the box.
Select a disability:
Then select the disability which best describes your needs by clicking on the arrow at the side of the box which says ‘Please select…’ A list appears and you can choose one of the 6 areas listed by clicking on it - for example, sitting down and from a wheelchair.
There are 6 areas to choose from: gardening after a stroke or with heart disease; garden sitting down or from a wheelchair; with sight loss; with a weak grip; using one hand; if you can't bend easily.
If however you would like to see a full list of products for each gardening job, simply choose 'All equipment and tools'.
When you have made both selections, click on the button labelled Find equipment and tools.
