These tools help you prune plants that are out of normal reach and will help stop you getting scratched. You can also use some of the long reach pruners to help with standard pruning jobs if you have reduced reach or mobility. Models with the shorter handles can be used one handed.
Safety note
Remember to stand well back when you are cutting overhead and be aware of possible back strain when using long reach cutting tools - keep your back straight and do a little at a time. You might also want to consider wearing safety glasses.
