Strawberries The Fruit garden

There is nothing better that being able to eat fruit straight from the garden. This doesn't mean having to clamber up rickety ladders to pick your apples.

Here are some ideas to put your fruit within reach:

  • Add some easy-to-grow fruit trees to your garden.
  • Grow fruit trees as cordons, espaliers or fans.
  • Grow gooseberries and red currants as fans or on a stem.
  • Grow fruit in containers for easier access.
